Jarrod spent his childhood growing up in Georgia, Florida and Tennessee. He graduated from East Tennessee State University with a degree in Communications / Business. After working at an UMC summer camp in a variety of leadership roles, he moved to Kingsport, Tenn., where he served as a youth minister for a large local church. There, he was involved with many short-term mission teams across the world and led youth ministry training in South Sudan for the Holston Conference. Prior to joining SIFAT, he was the Director of Admissions at a seminary in East Tennessee. He has been a speaker at variety of conferences, Christian organizations and churches. Additionally, he has written articles on missions and other subjects for student ministry magazines. Jarrod and his wife, Sarah, have two young children: Henry and Olivia.
