Project: To provide a salary for Agape’s administrator, Samuel

Summary:

Samuel has been volunteering his time to Agape Total Childcare Center and Agape Christian Academy (ACA) in Mukono, Uganda, for years. Without a salary, he struggled to support his family. Samuel runs the business side of the orphanage and Christian secondary school, including accounting and management. Students at ACA are scoring high on national exams and excelling in university.

We have had incredible reports since being able to begin providing a salary. Samuel and the children at Agape have more time together, which has led to guided spiritual formation with Bible sharing, lunch hour and evening worship, as well as counseling. Samuel’s full time presence at the school has ensured timely financial and operational reporting, planning and decision making. On a personal side, Samuel’s salary has improved his family’s welfare. His children have plenty to eat and can attend school because Samuel can afford their tuition fees.
