Around the World (ATW) Field Trips
Around the World is an interactive day trip for all age groups. Through this program, students are provided with an opportunity to participate in hands-on activities with an international perspective, while focusing on the geography and cultural studies of Asia, Africa and Latin America. Additionally, this program introduces students to simple Appropriate Technologies. Around the World is especially appropriate for public, private and home school students, as well as families and scout troops. These day trips are available throughout the fall, spring and summer on both weekdays and weekends.
If you are interested in bringing your group to an Around the World field trip, please fill out the online Group Interest Form (see link below) and email completed form to learnandserve@sifat.org or mail to SIFAT (address listed at bottom of page).
Once you have submitted this Group Interest Form, we will contact you to set up the details of your retreat. SIFAT staff will create a proposed schedule, invoice, and contract using the information you have provided. We ask for a 20% deposit to be paid and for your signed contract to be returned to confirm any tentatively scheduled retreat.
