#GivingTuesday2019 is Dec. 3!
#GivingTuesday is coming soon! Please save the date for Dec. 3 to participate in this global holiday that celebrates generosity and kindness by giving to SIFAT. Just as Black Friday and Cyber Monday kick off the holiday buying season, #GivingTuesday starts the giving season, reminding us what this time of year is truly about! Isn’t it exciting to be part of something greater than ourselves when we join together to give back!
#GivingTuesday is a wonderful time to embrace the spirit of giving! This year, our matching fund is $60,000 – double your donation! The “rules” for #GivingTuesday are the same as previous years. When you make a donation at any time on December 3, your contribution will double because of the matching fund set up by a generous group of SIFAT donors—up to the first $60,000 that we raise!
Last year, SIFAT supporters raised a total of $140,049.98 on #GivingTuesday. Help us reach our goal of $125,000 for #GivingTuesday 2019!

Donate Online through The Advance*
Click here to use our Advance #982812 page to give, so that 100% of each donation goes to our general fund because the credit card processing fees are covered by The Advance.

Donate Online through our SIFAT website
Go to the donate page on the SIFAT website on Dec. 3. Click on the donate button, which will take you to our PayPal page. Remember, Southern Institute for Appropriate Technology is our legal name, so your donation will come to SIFAT.
Donate by Check
Mail your contribution to 2944 County Road 113, Lineville, AL 36266. Please designate #GivingTuesday on the memo line, and make sure we receive it on or before Dec. 3.
Did you know?
Matching Funds from your Employer: Many companies will match donations made by employees to nonprofits. Check with your employer to see if a matching fund exists. If you need any paperwork from SIFAT, please contact accounting@sifat.org.
Direct IRA Disbursements: If you are required to take a disbursement from your IRA, you can have it donated directly to SIFAT, tax free! Your donation can be for a percentage of your disbursement or the full amount, but must be sent from your IRA to SIFAT to qualify. For more information, please contact accounting@sifat.org.
