We received our February Journal’s from the printer today. If you’re on our mailing list, you should have already received yours or be receiving it soon. You can send your name and address to Marie Lanier, lanierm@sifat.org, to receive a printed Journal, or you can sign up for our e-Journal by sending a blank e-mail with the word SUBSCRIBE as the subject to info@sifat.org. ***Correction*** Please note that the Sarah Trust Fund thermometer was incorrect in this month’s Journal. The Learn & Serve (L&S) section of our website received a facelift! Check it out at www.sifat.org/learnandserve. L&S is SIFAT’s summer experience for mid-high through senior high students. Both youth groups and individuals can attend. If you are interested in becoming a counselor or attending, contact L&S director Jamie Waldhour, waldhourj@sifat.org. Sessions begin on Sunday afternoon and end Friday morning. L&S 2008 starts June 1 and finishes August 1. We hope to see you for “Three Sixty”
The SIFAT staff wishes you a merry Christmas. We hope you enjoy this holiday time with your friends and family. The SIFAT offices will be closed on Monday, Dec. 24, and Tuesday, Dec. 25, to observe Christmas. Until 2008, catch up on SIFAT’s news by reading the December Journal. The calendars on the website are now fully operational. Thank you for understanding as we strive to get everything working correctly. You can find the calendars on the youth and children page and the training page. As our 2008 short-term mission teams get finalized, we will add a calendar on the missions page. If you have a correction or addition to add to our calendars, please contact Haley Lewis at lewish@sifat.org. www.sifat.org has changed! Have you noticed the differences? We now have an e-newsletter and update list you can register for, online calendars, online donations and current photos and information. During the process of getting our new site finished, please “pardon our progress” – we still have some minor problems to work out and fix. The look of the blog will change as we learn how to make it look more like our site. We need to get the calendars posted correctly, so you can find the correct events and a few broken links probably exist. Please hang in for a couple of weeks while we make the needed adjustments. But, we would like you to look around the site and become familiar with where everything can be found now! We have special sections for training, missions and children and youth. We also have a news tab that will let you read the latest articles about SIFAT. How can you help the website?
