Learn & Serve (L&S) begins in less than two months! Our eight counselors will begin training the last week in May, and students begin arriving the first week of June. You can see our counselors by heading over to the counselor page on the L&S site. We still have room available for individuals or youth groups during weeks 1, 4, 6 and 9. Forty (40) spaces are still available for rising 4th-6th graders. We received our February Journal’s from the printer today. The Learn & Serve (L&S) section of our website received a facelift! Check it out at www.sifat.org/learnandserve. L&S is SIFAT’s summer experience for mid-high through senior high students. Both youth groups and individuals can attend. If you are interested in becoming a counselor or attending, contact L&S director Jamie Waldhour, waldhourj@sifat.org. Sessions begin on Sunday afternoon and end Friday morning. L&S 2008 starts June 1 and finishes August 1. We hope to see you for “Three Sixty” The calendars on the website are now fully operational. Have you noticed the differences? We now have an e-newsletter and update list you can register for, online calendars, online donations and current photos and information. During the process of getting our new site finished, please “pardon our progress” – we still have some minor problems to work out and fix. The look of the blog will change as we learn how to make it look more like our site. We need to get the calendars posted correctly, so you can find the correct events and a few broken links probably exist. Please hang in for a couple of weeks while we make the needed adjustments. But, we would like you to look around the site and become familiar with where everything can be found now! We have special sections for training, missions and children and youth.
